Policies and Procedures

Ticks and fleas- dogs should be free of ticks and fleas. If a dog is found to have fleas on them during the groom then the groom will be stopped and the dog must be collected. Full payment is expected.

Health disclosure- if your dog has any existing or new health conditions then you must disclose them to the groomer. Depending on the condition the groomer holds the right to refuse to groom your dog. The groomer also has the right to change the groom duration and process to help your dog cope.  The groomer does not take any responsibility if the health condition is not disclosed.

Aggressive/ reactive dogs – should your dog become aggressive during the groom then the groom will be stopped, and the dog will need to be collected immediately. The groom will be paid in full.  If you disclose that your dog is reactive or aggressive before their groom, then the groomer has right to refusal of the groom. In some cases a grooming plan may be made to help groom the dog as safely as possible. Payment for these may be more to allow for time taken and provisions made.

Late drop off or collection- if you are late to drop off your dog for the groom you must inform the groomers straight away. The groomer may be able to make changes and continue with your groom on you arrival. If there is not enough time for the groom due to your lateness, then a full groom fee is expected.  If you are late to collect your dog please inform the groomer as soon as possible. A late collection fee will be added to the groom cost.
